An Archive preserves contemporary experiences of transgender patients alongside dated diagnostic questions, inviting readers to question how access to gender affirming care has been altered in recent years. Original anonymized interviews were conducted throughout 2025. The project was printed and completed during a residency at In Cahoots in 2026.
The typefaces for the project, all handset, are Optima and Caslon for the thirteen cards with Century Oldstyle for the colophon, in reference to the Century family of typefaces used in Supreme Court opinions affecting the medical experiences of transgender people.
